Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the game right now. Undoubtedly, this is thanks to the numerous collaborations with the game since its launches, such as those featuring brands, IPs, and pop culture icons. The free-to-play game also features a slew of seasonal content every few months, offering a variety of things to do and experience Fortnite. As Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 wraps up, Epic Games has released some new trailers for Season 3.
This trailer was shown immediately after Fortnite's collision event took the game offline, revealing a new location called Realistic Falls after the island's realistic trees bloom. It shows players can now play in this resort-like area, complete with summer vibes like roller coasters and beaches. The trailer also shows that Baller items have returned, where players can roll and grab other surfaces.
However, one of the most important aspects this trailer shows is the addition of a trailer for the iconic Star Wars villain Darth Vader. A leak earlier this year suggested Vader would be coming to Fortnite, so he's a highly anticipated character. He can be seen at the event in the movie trailer, and there are some laugh-worthy moments like him helping the stormtroopers reach the heights of Baller's ride, and even rolling around in Baller himself.
Fortnite released the third chapter
Another trailer for the Fortnite Vibin season was uploaded this morning, which focuses on the gameplay and what to expect from the season. This includes a new Wild Animal Ride mode where players can jump onto the heads of wolves or boars and ride on them, and they can still fight while riding these beasts. It also shows what the Reality Falls map will look like, with a focus on fungal forests and platforms.
The trailer also showcases the gameplay of Ballers, which can now be taken for a spin in an amusement park, or even on a ride-on track. Shortly after these were revealed, players got their hands on a new skin, also based on Lucasfilm's property, Indiana Jones. The great archaeologist's skin can be seen running through a temple while using a grappling hook to escape to safety. The trailer ends with a brief demo of Darth Vader's gameplay in Fortnite, where he can deflect attacks with his lightsaber and then grab opponents with his forced choke ability.
